One of the bright spots in music in the '80's was the emergence of The Traveling Wilburys, which veered near to being a spoof of the super groups of the late Sixties, like Blind Faith or Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young.
So far from the pretentiousness of earlier super groups, this hodge podge began & ended on a whim, as can be seen in the following clips, which comprise VH1's documentary on the group.
